 +At TL 11, uploading allows people to live as information within a computer network, or within a mobile synthetic body. Whether the body is organic or mechanical is not a problem, but the brain itself must be an artificial construct. The ability to re-write neurons with a person's mind patterns is too difficult.

 +===== Changing Bodies =====
 +
 +When you upload you leave your physical body behind, and hence your physical attributes become irrelevant. In **YAGS**, this means that //Strength//, //Health//, //Agility// and //Dexterity// are not tied to your mental ego. If you download into a new body, you use the physical attributes of your new body.
 +
 +The mental attributes of //Perception//, //Intelligence//, //Empathy// and //Will// are part of your personality and are transferred with you.
 +
 +==== Character Generation ====
 +
 +In a setting where body hopping is common, you do not pay for physical attributes during character generation.
 +
 +Most people though are capped to using a physical attribute of '5' - unless they're used to using their body to its maximum, they are limited by their training and subconscious self limitations. It costs two points (out of your attribute points) to be able to use a physical attribute up to a level of '7' (per attribute), or five points to raise the limit to be '9'.
